Description
This is a Market Survey to locate additional sources for the following Spare Parts P/O Antenna Mast Group (AMG) in direct support of the Patriot Missile System: Nomenclature CECOM Part Number NSN Mast Control 5035398-1 5985-01-126-2479 Support, Cylinder 5035713-1 5985-01-193-7422 Pivot, Cylinder C5078103-1 5985-01-191-2233 Cylinder Assembly, Actuating 5035618-1 3040-01-207-1850 Support, Antenna 5035688-1 5985-01-192-2029 Pump, Hydraulic Ram 5035783-1 4320-01-227-0520 The subject AMG spares are needed to support field AMG units in direct support of the Patriot Missile System. The Army has available the build-to-print drawings with the technical data for the manufacture and acceptance of the items. Suppliers capable of furnishing this unit must so indicate, by writing to via email to Mohammad.a.gani.civ@mail.mil. The response must include production lead time, production capacity by month, surge capacity, number of years part will be available, ranges for price breaks if applicable or any other information that could affect the acquisition, supply and delivery of the parts. The response should also include documentation such as copy of purchase order if the supplier was a vendor to the listed source or a statement from listed source demonstrating that the supplier can, in fact, supply the Army with this unit from the supplier listed above. Successful suppliers may be required to warrant that the item supplied will satisfactorily perform when used for the purpose intended by the Army. This is not a request for proposals. Closing date for responses is 15 days after the publication of this announcement. Responses can apply to any or all of the items. Additionally, you may provide additional information to support your technical capabilities of manufacturing or supplying similar components with similar complexity and functionality of those assemblies/sub-assemblies used in PATRIOT. If you are interested in assisting us with market research information for these items, please answer the below market survey questionnaire. We also appreciate any additional comments that will help us identifying potential manufactures or suppliers. Please complete the following questions. Company: Address: Point of Contact: Phone Number: Fax Numbers: Email Address: CAGE Code: DUNS Number: 3) Has your Company performed manufacturing and/or supplying power generation and distribution components or similar type effort in the past, if so provide Contract Number, Point of Contact (POC), e-mail address, phone number, and a brief description of your direct support of the effort? 4) Describe the qualifications of your engineering staff, who have experience in the design and production of power generation and distribution components similar in complexity and technology to what is used in PATRIOT. 5) Describe your company's experience in identifying the test equipment for testing power generation and distribution components similar in complexity and technology to what is used in the PATRIOT. 6) Describe your company's experience in managing obsolescence issues. 7) Does your company maintain a Program and Assessment Tool to monitor and analyze the availability of components to allow clear and precise tracking of all obsolescence issues? If so, please elaborate on the Program and Assessment tool(s). 8) Describe your company's experience in identifying the alternatives for the unavailability of obsolete materials or components to mitigate obsolescence issues. 9) Describe your company's experience in performing and completing First Article Testing (FAT) requirements for power generation and distribution components similar in complexity to what is used in the PATRIOT systems within a specified timeframe. 10) Discuss your company's capability in meeting US Government contracting delivery requirements. This is not a request for proposals and shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government. The information gathered from this announcement will be used to determine if responsible sources exist, and to assist in determining if this effort can be competitive and/or set aside for Small Business. Furthermore, the Government will use the information, in part, to determine the best acquisition strategy for a potential procurement action and to assist in making future acquisition strategy decisions. This is NOT a Request for Quote or Proposal. The Government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this RFI or reimburse any costs associated with the preparation of responses to this RFI.
