Description
This is a SOURCES SOUGHT request for informational and planning purposes only and shall not be construed as a solicitation or as an obligation or commitment by the Government at this time. This notice is intended strictly for market research. The purpose of this Sources Sought notice is to determine the following: The interest and capability of small business, especially service disabled veteran owned small business and veteran owned small business; Whether the business source is a manufacturer or authorized distributor, verified by an authorization letter from the original equipment manufacturer; and Size classification relative to the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 334510 for the proposed acquisition. The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 10 is seeking potential sources for an IMOP EVSIMOP2, brand name or equal, to be provided for the Richard L. Roudebush VA Medical Center, 1481 W 10th Street, Indianapolis, IN 46202. All items shall be new; refurbished/used items are not acceptable. Brand name or equal requirements: Part Number Description Quantity EVSIMOP2 IMOP, Electronic, 2 Battery 4 EA IMOP Preventative Maintenance and Service Package 4 EA Contractor shall provide IMOP or equivalent to Indianapolis VA Medical Center. IMOP shall be considered equal if it has the following salient characteristics: Is easier to use than a typical floor scrubber Applies solution, scrubs, and extracts soil in a single motion Cordless; runs on long lasting, quick charging lithium-ion battery for 1 hour using 24v23 lithium ion battery Extreme maneuverability and light weight Has effective bristle brushes used to break up soils on hard floors Places 48.5 lbs. of pressure on surface Two nine inch brushes counter-rotate at 350 RPM in cleaning mode Efficient and easy to use Cleans 1000 square feet in only 4.5 minutes Single tank can clean more than 4000 square feet before refill Dries faster than any other method 360 degree cleaning Machine can turn 360 degrees Titanium hinge allows for complete maneuverability All in one scrubber drier with flexibility of a flat mop Comes with 2 sets of batteries This allows for no down time A set of batteries can be charging while the other set is being used Has an operation width of 46cm and is 18.1 Has a theoretical performance of 1.800 m2/hour or 19375 sq. ft./hour Has a practical performance of 1.00-1.300 m2/hour or 10.000-14.000 sq. ft./hour Has a power rating of 700w Have a clean water tank that is 4L/1 gallon and a recovery water tank that is 8L/2 gallon. The brush pressure must be 22KG and is 48.5lbs Must weigh without batteries 17.5-21.5 KG or 38.6-47.4 lbs. Must weigh with batteries and water 25.5KG and 56.2 lbs. Any contractor that believes they are capable and desires to claim preference for small business status must be registered with the SBA and meet the requirements of FAR 19.102. Any contractor that believes they are capable and desires to claim preference for veteran owned small business status must be registered with the Vendor Information Pages (VIP) at https://www.vip.vetbiz.gov as an SDVOSB or VOSB.
