Description
The Air Force District of Washington's Small Business Programs Office (AFDW/SB) will host a series of Small Business Forums on Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling, Washington, DC (JBAB) from 1000-1200 on the following dates: Event Date Registration Deadline 01 February (FULL)* CLOSED 15 March 06 March 17 May 08 May 19 July 10 July * The 01 Feb event is at capacity. The Forums will provide the opportunity to network, learn of upcoming requirements and get your questions answered on how to do business with AFDW in an informal setting. Location : JBAB 3rd Floor Conference Room, Suite 300, 20 MacDill Blvd, Bldg. P-20, Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling, DC PRE-REGISTRATION IS MANDATORY : Due to the limited space, a maximum capacity of 30 has been established and no more than 2 representatives per firm can be accommodated. **REGISTRATION : To register, send an email to: usaf.jbanafw.afdw-staff.mbx.afdw-sb-workflow@mail.mil with the following information: 1 - Specific date the company would like to attend 2 - Company and company attendees 3 - Identify whether a base access visitor request is required for each attendee. For attendees who do not have a DoD Common Access Card (CAC), DoD Sponsor/Dependent ID or other DoD-issued ID, complete the attached "Visitor Worksheet for Base Access" form, and submit with the registration email. These visitors must go to the JBAB Visitor Center the day of the event and request a "Visitor Pass." To expedite processing through the JBAB Visitor Center, it is recommended that these attendees complete and bring the attached "SECNAV 5512 Base Access Registration Form" with them to the Visitor Center It is highly recommended potential attendees familiarize themselves with the material on AFDW/SB's website (http://www.afdw.af.mil/Units/Small-Business/), specifically the "Doing Business with JBA" document. While these events will be general in nature, it will focus on the types of goods and services that AFDW acquires. NOTE: Based on the agency's needs, the time, date, location and purpose of the events are subject to change. All changes will be posted on www.fbo.gov and given widest dissemination. During inclement be sure to check the JBAB website and www.fbo.gov for updates
