- The Air Force District of Washington's Small Business Programs Office (AFDW/SB) will host a series of Small Business Forums on Joint Base Andrews (JBA) from 1000-1200 on the following dates: Event Date Registration Deadline 22 Feb (FULL)* CLOSED 21 June 12 June 16 August 07 August 18 October 09 October *The 15 Feb event has been rescheduled for 22 Feb, and is at capacity. The Forums will provide the opportunity to network, learn of upcoming requirements and get your questions answered on how to do business with AFDW in an informal setting. Location : The Community Commons (Chesapeake Rm), 1442 Concord St, JBA, MD 20762 PRE-REGISTRATION IS MANDATORY : Due to the limited space, a maximum capacity of 30 has been established, and no more than 2 representatives per firm can be accommodated. **REGISTRATION : To register, send an email to: usaf.jbanafw.afdw-staff.mbx.afdw-sb-workflow@mail.mil with the following information: 1 - Specific date the company would like to attend 2 - Company and company attendees 3 - Identify whether a base access visitor request is required for each attendee (if attendees do not have a DoD Common Access Card (CAC), DoD Sponsor/Dependent ID or other DoD-issued ID). If a base access visitor request is required, AFDW/SB will follow-up prior to the event with additional instructions and required information to ensure base entry. Registrants will be notified of being waitlisted if the maximum number of attendees has been reached. It is highly recommended potential attendees familiarize themselves with the material on AFDW/SB's website (http://www.afdw.af.mil/Units/Small-Business/), specifically the "Doing Business with JBA" document. While these events will be general in nature, it will focus on the types of goods and services that AFDW acquires. NOTE: Based on the agency's needs, the time, date, location and purpose of the events are subject to change. All changes will be posted on www.fbo.gov and given widest dissemination.
