Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services/items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 in conjunction with FAR Part 13, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. This combined synopsis/solicitation is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ) 36C24118Q0112. Submit written offers in accordance with Addendum to FAR 52.212-1, Instruction to Offerors outlined in this solicitation. Oral offers will not be accepted. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-96 effective November 6, 2017. North American Industrial Classification Standard (NAICS) 811219, Other Electronic and Precision Equipment Repair and Maintenance, with a Size Standard of $20.5M apply to this procurement. Veterans Affairs intend to award a single firm fixed price contract for a one time preventative maintenance on a Roche Special Slide Stainer system. A service contract will be awarded for the required services in accordance with the Statement of Work. The service will begin upon receipt of Notice of award of contract.
