Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs intends to solicit and negotiate ONLY with a single source and award a contract for support and OR CONTROL Licenses for use with its OR CONTROL System, manufactured by Healthcare Control Systems, Inc. (HCS). The intended source is currently: Healthcare Control Systems, Inc. (HCS) | 2601 Ravello Ridge Dr | Austin, TX 78735 Healthcare Control Systems, Inc. is the sole owner of the OR Control System including all associated software and related intellectual property. Furthermore, Healthcare Control Systems, Inc. is the only entity authorized to license the use of the OR Control System. The statutory authority for the sole source procurement is FAR 13.106(b) Soliciting from a single source and the anticipated award date is 15 Feb 2018. All responses to this notice must be in writing and include the Notice # VA247-17-N-0876 in the subject line. Additionally, responses must also include: Name of the firm, point of contact, phone number, email address, DUNS number, CAGE code, identify business size (large business or a small business), and if applicable, a statement regarding small business status (including small business type(s)/certifications(s) such as SDB, 8(a), HUBZone, SDVOSB, WOSB, etc.) and the corresponding NAICS code. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. Responses must send to Evonne.Huggins@va.gov, received by 8am Eastern Time on 9 Jan 2018, and include the Notice # VA247-17-N-0876 in the subject line.
