- The U.S. Army Aviation and Missile Command (AMCOM) will host the Team Redstone Center of Excellence - Advance Planning Briefings to Industry (CE-APBI), on March 6-7, 2018 from 8:00 am - 4:30 pm, Central Standard Time (CST), at the Bob Jones Auditorium, Building 5304, John J. Sparkman Complex, Redstone Arsenal, Alabama 35898. A No-Host Social will be held at the Summit, 130 Golf Course Road, Redstone Arsenal, Alabama 35898 on 6 March 2018 from 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm. This year's theme is "Enabling Sustainable Readiness through Speed, Accuracy, and Quality." The CE-APBI provides a forum for information exchange and discussion between Industry, Academia, and the Team Redstone Government participants. Our event will focus on Team Redstone's core technical capabilities, acquisition needs, and future opportunities. Team Redstone leaders and subject matter experts will deliver presentations and conclude with question and answer sessions. An array of Team Redstone member organizations will provide exhibits during the event. Networking is expected and encouraged. In addition, there will be an opportunity for Small Business Industry to showcase a tangible product capability during day two of the APBI. Small Business Industry only is requested to submit a one-page White Paper describing a capability to showcase to the Government and Industry partners. The White Papers will be vetted, and a number of industry participants will be invited to showcase their capability. The White Paper should include a product that AMCOM has not procured before or enhances AMCOM requirements. Pictures of the product are desirable. Also, Industry should provide the size of dispaly and exhibit space needed. Limited space will be available for this showcase event, so table displays/exhibits should not be larger than six feet long by three feet high and two feet deep. The White Paper should be sent via email to Ms. Debra Wood, Deputy Director of the AMCOM Office of Small Business Programs not later than 2 February 2018. Ms. Wood's email address is debra.r.wood2.civ@mail.mil. Please ensure that your subject line reads: APBI Showcasing Small Business Industry White Paper. Team Redstone includes the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), the Army Materiel Command (AMC), the U.S. Army Aviation, Missile, Research, Development and Engineering Center, the Program Executive Office - Aviation, the Program Executive Office - Missiles and Space, the Aviation and Missile Command (AMCOM) and others. Registration and Access to Redstone Arsenal: This is a no-fee event. All expenses associated with attendance will be the responsibility of the participant(s). Attendees are required to pre-register online. Registration will close on Thursday, March 1, 2018. Check-in at the John J. Sparkman Center will start at 7:00 am daily. To register go to https://conference.redstone.army.mil/. Registration for the No-Host Social may also be accomplished on the website portal. In order to gain access to Redstone Arsenal Sparkman Center, attendees must have an active Common Access Card (CAC) or Redstone Arsenal Visitor Badge. Although Retired Military and Retired Civilian government employee IDs, and other forms of identification will allow you access to the installation, they will not provide you access to John J. Sparkman Center, the location of the event. Attendees are encouraged to arrive early to permit sufficient time to check-in. This announcement is not a contract, request for proposal, a promise to contract, or a commitment of any kind on the part of the Government. AMCOM, AMC and Team Redstone will not assume liability for costs incurred by an attendee or for travel expenses or marketing efforts; therefore, attendee cost in response to this notice is not considered an allowable direct charge to the Government.
