- This is a PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE. NAICS: 561720 - Janitorial Services FSC: S201 - Housekeeping - Custodial Janitorial Size Standard: $18,000,000.00 This solicitation will be a 100% Small Business Set-Aside Subject : Custodial Maintenance Services Place of Performance : Eau Galle Reservoir and Recreation Area, Spring Valley, Wisconsin 54767 Description : The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers requires a contractor to perform custodial maintenance services at Eau Galle Dam and Recreation Area, located near Spring Valley, Wisconsin. The work includes furnishing all labor, equipment, and supplies (to include furnishing toilet paper, paper towels, soap, trash can liners, and cleaning supplies) required to maintain clean and sanitary conditions. The contractor will collect and dispose of garbage and recycling, maintain the beach, and maintain the public restroom facilities daily. The contractor will also clean the open air shelters, grills, fire rings/pits, drinking fountains and faucets on a regular basis, as scheduled in the SOW. Active performance of the contract will be from May 1 through October 31. Certain activities (such as beach cleaning) are for shorter durations within this period. The solicitation will be a Request for Quotes (RFQ), resulting in one Firm-Fixed Price contract for one year, with four additional option years, exercisable unilaterally by the Government. Eau Galle Reservoir and Recreation Area is a 650-acre Corps of Engineers flood control project offering both day use and overnight camping facilities. Day use facilities are provided at the Main Day Use Area, Northwest Day Use Area, Lousy Creek Access and the Stilling Basin/Outlet Works. Overnight camping is allowed in Highland Ridge Campground. The facilities contain: - 2 Bathroom Facilities - 1 Bathroom Facility (Bathroom/Shower) - 1 Vault Bathroom Facility - 3 Portable Toilets - 5 Shelters - 8 Drinking Fountains - 7 Parking Lots - 6 Texas-Sized Grills - 21 Pedestal Grills - 38 Picnic Tables - 20 Trash Receptacles (Only located in the Day Use Area) - 31 Recycling Containers (Only located in Campgrounds and Day Use Area) - 58 Fire Rings/Pits (Campgrounds) This synopsis is not a request for quotes or proposals. This is a notice that a solicitation for a small business competitive acquisition for the award of one firm-fixed price contract is intended to be issued via FedBizOpps (www.fbo.gov) in the near future. The specifications will be detailed in the solicitation. This announcement is for information and planning purposes only and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government, implied or otherwise, to issue a solicitation or award a contract. The solicitation will contain the response deadline. It is estimated that quotes will be due not less than 15 days after the solicitation is issued. This time frame is an estimate and subject to change. The definitive quote due date and time will be stated in the solicitation and any associated amendments that may be issued.
