Description

Pre-solicitation Notice: The Government intends to award a FIRM FIXED PRICE CONTRACT for pHAKIC iNTRAOCULAR LENS FOR CARL R. DARNALL ARMY MEDICAL CENTER, FT. HOOD, TX. THIS Requirement IS to provide phakic intraocular lens FOR CARL R. DARNALL ARMY MEDICAL CENTER, FT. HOOD, TX TO BE ORDERED ON AN “AS NEEDED BASIS”. PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE: 1 FEB 2018 – 30 SEPT 2018 SALIENT CHARACTERISTICS FOR PHAKIC INTRAOCULAR LENS 1. Must be available in four lengths 12.1, 12.6, 13.2, and 13.7. 2. Must be a single piece UV absorbing Collamer optic and haptic. 3. Must have a convex/concave diverging optic. 4. Must have an overall diameter of 13.2mm. 5. Must have a body diameter of 4.9 - 5.8. 6. Must be sterile with shelf life of at least 7 months. 7. Must have a power range of -3.0 to -16.0 diopter. 8. Must include cartridge and foam tip plunger with each lens order. SOLICITATION WILL be posted on or about 9 January 2018.
