Description
NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD NONCOMPETITIVE PROCUREMENT Requisition No.: 663-18-1-213-0029 Date of Notice: 01/05/2018 Contracting Officer: Amy Kuczajda Closing Date: 01/12/2018 This notice will appear for 5 days from above date. ************************************************************************************** Description of Supplies/Services: The Department of Veterans Affairs, VA Puget Sound, Seattle Division, requires services, non personal, for parts, labor and preventative maintenance for the Richard-Allan Excelsior Tissue Processor. See attached Statement of Work for details. The Government intends to award this requirement noncompetitively IAW FAR 13.106-1(b), to Richard-Allan Scientific due to proprietary rights. Richard-Allan Scientific is the only authorized source of factory trained service engineers to service and repair the Reprocessor. It is essential to maintain the equipment so they are safe and ready for patient use. Other interested concerns having the ability to furnish these services/supplies shall submit a capabilities statement to the Contracting Officer no later than the closing date of this announcement. All submissions will be evaluated to determine if competitive opportunities exist. This is NOT an RFQ. This does represent the Government s only written notice of this procurement. All responsible sources may submit a response which, if timely received, must be considered by the agency. The estimated/potential $28,636.00 Place of Performance: Seattle, WA ************************************************************************************* ************************************************************************************* This notice and any resulting contract or order conforms to the requirements in place through FAC 05-96 (effective 11/06/2017). All questions regarding this procurement shall be in writing, and addressed to Amy Kuczajda at amy.kuczajda@va.gov no later than 01/10/2018.
