Description

This is a REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) only. Market research is being conducted to determine the amount of qualified and capable businesses that can provide the items requested below. If you believe your firm is able to provide the items requested below, you are encouraged to respond by the due date with all of the required information indicated below in order to be considered. Due date for responses is close of business (4:30PM local time/CT) on Tuesday, January 16, 2018. Email responses to Melanie Stockman at melanie.stockman@va.gov. All questions must be submitted in writing to the Contracting Officer in writing via email. Telephone inquiries will NOT be accepted/returned. NAICS: 332321 Size Standard: 750 employees Specifications Warehouse Door Replacement Building 70 BM-101 Logistics Minneapolis VA Health Care System The Minneapolis VA Medical Center Energy Center (Building 70) needs to contract for the removal and replacement of the fire-rated doors at the entrance of the Logistics Department. These doors allow entry for incoming deliveries to the warehouse for all deliveries processed through Logistics, then are delivered throughout the Medical Campus by warehouse employees. The doors have suffered damage over time, and now do not secure properly. The Minneapolis VA needs to have the doors and frame replaced, reusing the existing automatic door closer, safety sensors, electrical devices, power supplies, and kick plates. Vendor to be responsible for the disposal of the frame and doors, and all installation. The following materials will be required for the project: 1- F14A60-7080 HMF (frame) 2- BW16A60-3680 HMD (doors) 2 SL300 95 EL-8 ETAP Continuous Hinge 2- 959C96 Brush Astrigal Gasket 1- 20 lf. Smoke Gasket FOB: Destination
