Description
Industry Day Announcement for Persistent Cyber Training Environment (PCTE) The Program Executive Office for Simulation, Training, & Instrumentation is hosting an Industry Day for the Persistent Cyber Training Environment (PCTE). When: Thursday, February 1st, 2018, 9:00am to 12:30pm Where: 3039 Technology Parkway, Orlando, FL 32826, Partnership III Building, Room 321 Why: 1) Provide an updated overview of the PCTE requirement and 2) Kickoff for Cyber Innovation Challenge 2. 1) PCTE is a training platform that allows cyber mission forces (CMF) to train in emulated network environments utilizing current cyber tool suites. The evolution of the platform will largely focus on integration of available applications, enabling increased automation to ultimately support multiple simultaneous training events. At maturity, the DoD joint PCTE will be a constellation of federated, interoperable common training capabilities enabling full spectrum training from individual competencies to the team, unit, group and force training, exercises, TTP development and mission rehearsal. 2) Cyber Innovation Challenge 2 will be released through the Training and Readiness Accelerator (TReX), with subsequent award(s) made as Other Transaction Agreements (OTAs) via sub-projects under TReX. Cyber Innovation Challenge 2 focuses on enabling user access to the PCTE and training aids through an order portal, as well as the establishment and operation of a content repository. The portal capability should include a web-enabled user interface to provide the capability to check user authentication credentials, configure training, order training, schedule training, access training, and facilitate the production and distribution of user training assessments at the conclusion of the training event. This should allow authorized users to access the content repository to view existing training scenarios. In addition to the training managers and training audience using the order portal, it will allow the content repository to be accessed by CMF trainees, event designers and event managers. This should allow the creation, modification and deletion of training content as well as collaboration, searching and indexing content. These capabilities require the ability to operate simultaneously at multiple classification levels which should be shown by demonstrating the capability to segregate data according to simulated classification levels. These capabilities will be integrated within the PCTE development operations (DEVOPS) environment. Any party interested in responding to this challenge (or future challenges) must be a member of TReX prior to the point of submittal. However, TReX membership is not required to attend this event. There is limited space available at this event so all interested parties are encouraged to register as soon as possible at the registration link provided below. Registration will be limited to the first 180 registrants, with a maximum of two per company or academic institution. Government personnel interested in attending should contact Ms. Beth Hinds at elizabeth.a.hinds.ctr@mail.mil. Attendees must provide Government issued identification upon arrival. Check in will begin at 0800. Foreign Nationals may not attend this event. Registration link: http://www.trainingaccelerator.org/new/pcteindustryday/ Notes: One-on-one sessions will not be held in conjunction with this event. An agenda will be published on the TReX website the week of the Industry Day. IMPORTANT NOTE REGARDING PARKING: Due to limited parking in the Partnership II/III parking lot, all visitors must park in the large parking lot on the corner of Science Drive and Technology Parkway. The Partnership II/III parking lot is authorized parking for occupants only. Also, do not parking in the AT&T parking lot as your car will be subject to being towed. Disclaimer: This announcement is not a contract, request for proposal, a promise to contract, or a commitment of any kind on the part of the Government.
