- Description
- 08 January 2018 Update: In accordance with FAR 52.237-1, Site Visit, the Government will host two site visits: 1) Wideband Satellite Operations Center (WSOC) at Wahiawa, HI); 2) Regional SATCOM Support Center (RSSC) Pacific, Wheeler Army Air Field, HI on 14 & 15 February 2018, respectively. While not mandatory, vendors are highly encouraged to participate in order to obtain a better understanding of the overall scope of the WSOTS II requirement. Due to space limitations, no more than two (2) attendees per vendor will be allowed to participate. Last minute substitutions will not be allowed due to the time required to verify a participant's ability to access each facility. No other site visits are planned at this time. A minimum of Secret clearance is required for each facility. Participants are responsible for arranging their own transportation to each of the site locations. Interested vendors shall submit an email request to jennifer.d.baker2.civ@mail.mil and christopher.a.baldwin22.civ@mail.mil and provide the following information, no later than 19 January 2018: - Company Name - Cage Code - For each participant, provide the following: - Last Name, First Name, and Middle Initial - Level of Security Clearance Held (Top Secret, Secret, or None) - Contact information to include phone number and e-mail address A detailed itinerary, timeline and access instructions will be provided to attendees after they have been cleared for installation access. In no event shall failure to attend these site visits constitute grounds for a claim after contract award. The Government will not reimburse the contractor for any site visit expenses. The following acquisition milestones have been updated to list the anticipated Draft RFP issuance date and the finalized dates for the site visits. These dates are subject to change and should NOT be construed as a commitment by the Government: 1. Draft Solicitation release anticipated late February 2018 2. Site Visits scheduled for 14 and 15 February 2018. 3. Final Solicitation anticipated release date will be announced following issuance of the Draft Solicitation. Additional information, as it becomes available, will be posted for viewing on Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) https://www.fbo.gov. It is the responsibility of the interested parties to review FBO frequently for any updates/amendments to any and all documents.
