- Solicitation This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 -- Streamlined Procedures for Evaluation and Solicitation for Commercial Items, in conjunction with FAR -- Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures; and supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-95, dated January 19, 2017. Solicitation 36C26218Q0169 is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ) and constitutes the only solicitation. The Government intends to award a single Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) award contract. This procurement will be issued under as a Total Small Business Set-Aside. NAICS Code is 339112 and the Small Business Administration s (SBA) size standard 1000 Employees. The Government is seeking a contract to acquire Free-Standing Return Conveyor (RC) and components. The Free-Standing Conveyor System will transfer existing wash carts back from the clean side to the soiled side of sterile processing. SPS is in need of the Free-Standing Return Conveyor in the working space of decontamination and preparation to improve the functionality of sterile processing operations. The installation of the Free-Standing Return Conveyor System will help in elevating physical stress on the Medical Supply Technologist's body due to the easy loading and unloading of wash carts from the trolley to the conveyor.. This solicitation contains a brand name justification for the following systems and components: Fully automated transport system for returning empty wash carts from the clean side/ back to the soiled side to be reloaded. The clean-side conveyor module is separate from the soiled-side conveyor. Each conveyor module will be integrated with a pass-through single window hatch; or an interlocking 2-window pass-through chamber that penetrates the barrier wall/ to produce a hygienic return transfer system The clean and soiled side conveyors are modular, comprised of conveyor sections hat can handle 1 to 7 wash carts on each side. Conveyors can be combined to provide maximum flexibility to hold from 2 wash carts up to 14 total wash carts.
