- Edited Date Issued to 01/08/18 and Closing Date to 02/08/18 THIS PROCUREMENT IS BEING SOLICITED UNRESTRICTED, FULL AND OPEN COMPETITION. Project Name : Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Contract for Professional Fall Protection Services Project Overview: The Architect of the Capitol (AOC) anticipates issuing a Request for Proposal for an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Contract for Professional Fall Protection Services. The comprehensive scope of the Fall Protection Services shall include inspection, certification, design, and training. These services may be supplemented with Architectural Design ; Civil Engineering; Structural Engineering; Landscape Architecture; Historic Preservation; Mechanical Engineering; Plumbing Engineering; Electrical Engineering; Electronic Engineering ; Roofing and Waterproofing Design; Sustainable Design; Commissioning; Fire Protection ; Environmental Compliance; Security; Cost Estimating; Building Information Modeling (BIM); Geospatial Services and CAD Services. The period of performance will be 365 days from contract award with four one-year option periods. Individual task orders detailing required services will be issued under this IDIQ. These task orders may be placed at any time prior to the expiration of the contract, including the four option years if exercised. The cumulative amount of all task orders issued against the IDIQ shall not exceed $500,000. The AOC is a legislative branch entity and as such is NOT subject to the Brooks A-E Act as implemented in Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Part 36.6. The AOC will use a one-step Best-Value Trade-Off process. Proposal qualifications will be based on Company Background and Relevant Experience, Key Personnel and Management Structure, Past Performance, and Price.
