Description

JOTFOC MORRO BAY Description: The United States Coast Guard, Surface Forces Logistics Centers, Long Range Enforcer Branch 2, Oakland, CA anticipates awarding sole source procurement to Wartsila Defense, Inc. for the following supplies: Shaft Seal major overhaul kit NIIN 015403303 (Divers, WDI field Service Engineer, O-cord, Gasket, Inflatable seal) POP 22-JAN-18 This procurement will be made on behalf of the USCGC MORRO BAY. Vendor will provide all the parts listed above. NAICS Code # 336611 applies to this procurement. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. No solicitation will be issued, however all responses received on/before 1300 PST 16 JAN 2018 will be reviewed by the Government. A determination not to compete this proposed contract based on the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. This notice of intent is NOT a request for competitive proposals. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. All questions concerning this notice must be submitted in writing the Contracting Officer, email address is: MAYRA.C.CENTURION@USCG.MIL The solicitation is restricted to: Wartsila Defense, Inc. Offers from concerns other than the above are not solicited. If no affirmative responses are received by the date specified above to determine whether a qualified source is more advantageous to the Government, a purchase order will be negotiated and awarded to Wartsila Defense, Inc.
