Description

The attached specification RPP-SPEC-61096, Filter Housing General Equipment Procurement Specification, provided in this EOI, represents a set of Buyer expectations that meets compliance with the ASME AG-1 Code, Section HA, for specified performance, design, fabrication, acceptance, and testing requirements. The procurement specification establishes performance, design, fabrication and testing requirements for Ventilation Filter Housing (VFHs) that are, intended for use in Tank Operations Contractor (TOC) nuclear air-cleaning system applications. Filter housings procured per this specification shall meet Washington Administrative Code (WAC), Chapter 246-247, governing the regulatory requirements for ASME AG-1 compliant abatement technology. This specification shall be used in conjunction with compliant ASME AG-1 Section FC HEPA filters that incorporates select supplemental requirements from Department of Energy (DOE) standard, DOE-STD-3020-2015, Specification for HEPA Filters Used by DOE Contractors. Seller shall be responsible for design, fabrication, inspection, testing, documentation, packaging, and shipping of HEPA filter housing in accordance with the applicable ASME AG-1 requirements.
