Description
SUBJECT: The Veterans Health Administration (VHA), plans to sponsor a vendor fair to complete market research for the procurement and installation of a Gastroenterology, Picture Archiving and Collection System (GI PACS) system at the Eastern Colorado Health Care System (ECHCS) Aurora, Colorado facility. This SPECIAL NOTICE is to obtain vendors capable of providing GI and Pulmonary systems. DISCLAIMER: This SPECIAL NOTICE is issued solely to survey the market and does not constitute a solicitation. Neither unsolicited proposals nor any other kind of offers will be considered in response to this NOTICE. Responses to this notice are not offers and will not be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. Respondents are solely responsible for all expenses associated with responding to this NOTICE. All information received in response to this NOTICE marked as "proprietary" will be handled accordingly. Information provided as a response to the NOTICE will not be returned. VA will not entertain any questions concerning the composition, requirements, or the nature of services to be performed under any future request for proposal (RFP). BACKGROUND: The objective of the vendor fair is to collect market research on the available GI and Pulmonary systems and how they function on the user level. 1.             Interfaces with CPRS/VISTA: imports patient information from CPRS and generates a note that can be uploaded into CPRS with images uploaded to VISTA 2.             Interfaces with bronchoscopes for instant inclusion of images, which are associated to anatomical diagrams in the notes 3.             Customizable procedure documentation templates for diagnostic bronchoscopy, endobronchial ultrasound, electromagnetic navigation bronchoscopy, and flexible fiberoptic laryngoscopy 4.             Automatically generates CPT, ICD-9, and ICD-10 codes 5.             Instantly prepares patient letters, post-procedure orders, and patient instructions The VA seeks information about commercially available products that meet or can be readily modified to meet the requirements above. INSTRUCTIONS: Vendors are allowed no more than two (2) representatives total for an entire company. It is strongly recommended that at least one (1) of the participants be from one of the vendor's technical division(s). VHA envisions that the Vendor Fair will provide the opportunity for parties in the field to network and potentially make teaming/subcontracting arrangements. Companies are encouraged to participate as a vendor in the Vendor Fair that will be held on January 26, 2018 from 2:00-4:00 PM at the Denver VA Auditorium located at 1055 Clermont St, Denver, CO 80220. Vendors interested in participating in the Vendor Fair shall furnish a capability statements. The capability statement shall summarize the organization s products/technologies/capabilities. If a vendor's products or services are available through existing purchasing vehicles (e.g. GSA schedule/SEWP/GWACS), the capability statement shall list these vehicles. If a vendor is a small business, this should be indicated in the capability statement. The vendor should also provide a platform in which the user can test the system to better understand its capabilities. RELEASE OF CLAIMS, LIABILITY, AND PREPARATION EXPENSES: Under no circumstances shall the VHA be responsible for any response preparation expenses, submission costs, or any other expenses, costs, or damages, of whatever nature incurred as a result of the Respondent's participation in this market research process. Respondent understands and agrees that it submits its response at its own risk and expense, and releases VHA from any claim for damages or other liability arising out of this SPECIAL NOTICE.
