Description

The Department of Veterans' Affairs is seeking the services of a qualified Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business construction company to provide all labor, material, transportation, equipment and qualified supervision required to construct the Expand and Renovate Community Living Center project #652-312 located at the H.H. McGuire VA Medical Center, 1201 East Broad Rock Boulevard, Richmond, Virginia, 23249. In general, the project scope requirements include a renovation of the existing building of approximately 300 square feet and an addition of approximately 16,000 square feet. The work shall be performed in strict accordance with construction drawings and specifications prepared by Design-Aire Engineering and completed within 365 days from receipt of the Notice to Proceed. This includes final Inspection and cleanup. The NAICS code for this project is 236210 with a small business size standard of $36.5 million. The estimated construction cost is between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000. The drawings and specifications will be uploaded as part of the solicitation on or about 01/26/2018. A date and time for a pre-proposal conference / site visit will be stated in the solicitation. No other site visits will be conducted. Questions or Requests for Information (RFI s) from Bidders must be typewritten and e-mailed to the Contracting Officer, Mark S. Harville @ mark.harville@va.gov. This procurement is 100% set-aside for Service-Disabled, Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB). Offers are solicited only from SDVOSB concerns and offers received from concerns that are not from SDVOSB concerns shall not be considered.
