- Redacted CJ&A Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) awarded an Order under Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA), N00019-15-G-0026, to Northrop Grumman Systems Corporation (NGSC), Melbourne, Florida (FL) for the procurement of Non-recurring Engineering (NRE), hardware manufacturing, subsystem test, and delivery of E-2D ARP hardware sets, inclusive of fully populated ARP A6 and A12 Processors, and associated spare unique modules. The period of performance of this Order is from 04 January 2018 to 30 November 2019. contract action. NGSC is the sole designer, developer, manufacturer and integrator of the E-2D Advanced Hawkeye. NGSC is the only company that has the ability, resources, technology, and documentation necessary to develop, produce, maintain, and support this system without causing unacceptable delays in meeting the Navy's operational requirements. Accordingly, NGSC is the only known qualified, responsible source that can fulfill the requirements specified herein. The awarded Order is for the supplies or services for which the Government solicited and negotiated with only one source under the authority of Title 10, U.S. Code 2304 (c)(1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, ‘Only One Responsible Source', and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The Class Justification and Approval (CJ&A) is attached which provides justification for this sole source award.
