Description
The Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) of the U.S, House of Representatives (House) seeks to procure the services of a firm that can develop a curriculum and provide training on workplace rights and responsibility. In accordance House Resolution 630, during each session of each Congress, each Member (including each Delegate or Resident Commissioner to the Congress), officer, and employee of the House of Representatives shall complete a program of training in the workplace rights and responsibilities applicable to offices and employees of the House under part A of the title II of the Congressional Accountability Act of 1995 (2.U.S.C. 1301 et seq), including anti-discrimination and anti-harassment training. The Committee on House Administration has adopted regulations providing additional detail about the training requirements. The House will provide workplace rights and responsibility training to approximately 10,000 employees. Nearly 6,500 employees are in Washington, DC, with the remaining employees in approximately 900 district offices. Sources interested in this requirement will be required to teach in-person training at one of the US House of Representative Office Buildings in Washington, DC and deploy the training via an interactive webinar to district offices. If this notice results in a solicitation, the anticipated start date of training is April 2, 2018, with completion of training for existing staff by July 2, 2018.
