- SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS The Department of Veterans Affairs is issuing this sources sought synopsis as a means of conducting market research to identify parties having an interest in and the resources to support a requirement for the Milwaukee VA Medical Center. The Milwaukee VA Medical Center requires an inventory management solution which will provide visibility to supplies throughout the medical center while eliminating stock-outs, reducing overstocking and over-spending, the solution must enable easy and automated recording of all supply transactions. See below for a brief listing of other requirements: Must include a receiving module to manage receipt and tracking of materials within a healthcare system. Cloud-based solution is highly preferred. Must include an inventory management solution with inbound and outbound interfaces. The result of this market research will contribute to determining the method of procurement and any relevant set-asides. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code assigned to this procurement is 541511 Computer program or software development. THERE IS NO SOLICITATION AT THIS TIME. This request for capability information does not constitute a request for quotes; submission of any information in response to this market survey is purely voluntary; the government assumes no financial responsibility for any costs incurred. If your organization has the potential capacity to perform these contract services, please provide the following information: In this instance, marketing material may be suitable. BASED ON THE RESPONSES TO THIS SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE/MARKET RESEARCH, THIS REQUIREMENT MAY BE SET-ASIDE FOR SDVOSBs, VOSBs, or SMALL BUSINESSES OR PROCURED THROUGH FULL AND OPEN COMPETITION. The government will evaluate market information to ascertain potential market capacity to provide services consistent in scope and scale with those described in this notice and otherwise anticipated. Submission Instructions: Interested parties who consider themselves qualified to perform the above-listed services are invited to submit a response to this Sources Sought Notice by 1000 CT on 2 February, 2018.
