Solicitation 36C78618R0112 Amendment 00001 Questions and Answers: Please clarify dumpster size as there is no 24 cubic yard open top roll off available. Only open roll off available are 20, 30, and 40. Answer: The dumpster size is hereby changed to 20-yard. Can you provide waste profile as far as some historical on the tonnage for past containers? Answer: Usually from 2 (two) to 3 (three) tons per call, about 9-12 times per year. About 28 tons last FY. This is not an all-inclusive tonnage and the answer above will not guarantee that this will be the tonnage in the future nor the Government will be liable for any tonnage changes. In the solicitation price matrix is states that we should estimate 12 loads per year, but in the Est quantity is say 8. How should we bid it 8 or 12? Answer: Submit a price in accordance to the quantity requested every year in the pricing schedule. The base year is prorated at 8 jobs because by the time of award, we will be in the middle of the year. Is this a new requirement, or is there an incumbent contractor? If existing, can you provide me the contractor and award amount? Answer: New contract. The Statement of Work for this posting specifies in "Hours of Operation"...Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:00 a.m. - 4:00p.m. Is there some flexibility with this? Answer: NO. Due to the container location and safety issues, pick up is available only during cemetery s operating hours. Is the Contractor required to have a performance bond for this solicitation? Answer: For this type of procurement, probably no, but the Government retain it s right to ask for it.
