Description
The U.S. Forest Service, Region 6, Willamette National Forest has a requirement for Road 46 Paving, Detroit Ranger District, Marion County, Oregon. The Contractor shall furnish the necessary personnel, material, equipment, services and facilities (except as otherwise specified), to perform the Statement of Work/Specifications. Work includes temporary traffic control, pavement crack cleaning and sealing, asphalt paving (pre-leveling), asphalt paving (overlay), and pavement markings. The project can be located as follows: from Salem Oregon, travel east on highway 22 to MP 50 (City of Detroit), turn left on Forest Service Road 46 and travel 0.09 miles to start of project. The Government's estimate is between $250,000 and $500,000. A bid bond (20%) will be required with offers, and a payment bond (100 percent) and performance bond (100 percent) will be required after award. Contract performance time is estimated to begin 23 July 2018 with project ready for use 30 days after issuance of Notice to Proceed. FOR ADDITIONAL INFORMATION contact Michael Howard at 503.854.4234. This procurement requires the use of biobased products to the extent that such products are reasonably available, meet agency or relevant industry performance standards, and are reasonably priced. Where available, these products should first be acquired from among qualified products that fall under the umbrella of items designated through the Federal Biobased Preferred Program (FB4P). Note: prospective awardee shall be registered and active in the System for Award Management (SAM) data base prior to award. Information on registration may be obtained via the internet at: http://www.sam.gov. All contractors and vendors must complete the electronic version of the Representations and Certifications in the SAM system.
