This is a SOURCES SOUGHT request for informational and planning purposes only and shall not be construed as a solicitation or as an obligation or commitment by the Government at this time. This notice is intended strictly for market research. The purpose of this Sources Sought notice is to determine the following: The interest and capability of small business, especially service disabled veteran owned small business and veteran owned small business; Whether the business source is a manufacturer or authorized distributor, verified by an authorization letter from the original equipment manufacturer; and Size classification relative to the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 339113 for the proposed acquisition. The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 10 is seeking potential sources for a Single Chamber Washer/Disinfector to be installed at the VA Northern Indiana Healthcare System Marion Campus, 1700 East 38th Street, Marion, IN 46953-4589. Washer/disinfector shall be equal or comparable to the Reliance Vision manufactured by Steris. All items shall be new; refurbished/used/gray market items are not acceptable. The following requirements/salient characteristics are applicable: Single chamber washer/disinfector with steam heat Stainless steel Non-vented system Touch screen that can directly interface 100% with Censitrac Scope Tracking System Compatible with washing plastic, rubber, surgical grade instrument. 3 chemical injection pumps located up to 50 Injector pump has low level sensor Available if needed - 2 more injection pumps 5 preprogrammed cycles 1 Decontamination cycle for weekly cleaning of chamber 15 open cycles for customized programming Operation of cycles phase: Pre-wash, Enzyme, Wash, Rinse, Thermal Rinse, Drying 3 level manifold rack with carriage HEPA filter system Approximate size: 42 x 80-3/4 x 32 in Loading height 31 Printer: Time, date, malfunction data if there is a problem, service mode. Debris screen floor of chamber, removable for cleaning.
