- Description
- Barracuda Cloud E-mail Archiving Service for BBG The Broadcasting Board of Governors/International Broadcasting Bureau (BBG/IBB), Office of Contracts (CON) located at 330 Independence Ave, SW Washington, D.C. 20237, intends to negotiate and award a contract for Barracuda Cloud E-mail Archive Support. The planned contract This contract will be for a period of performance of twelve (12) months beginning 01/24/2018 through 01/23/2019. The order satisfies a critical Broadcasting Board of Governors (BBG) need to purchase Barracuda Cloud E-mail Archive Services for BBG. The e-mail service must provide technical solutions that solves three critical e-mail capabilities required by law: provide a permanent archive of all e-mail messages sent or received in order to respond to law enforcement and Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests, comply with the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) Directive M-12-18 which requires e-mails be held for as long as they are needed for "capstone" officials and other individuals with significant management responsibilities and allows security specialists to comprehensively identify all recipients of malicious e-mails and attachments so they can be eradicated before they are opened. The use of such descriptions in the acquisition is essential to the Government's requirements, thereby precluding consideration of a product manufactured by another company. Interested firms must submit a written response that demonstrates their ability to provide the above. Also, interested firms must state how they would fulfill the requirement above and include appropriate documentation describing the number of years they have been providing such services. The written response received from interested firms shall provide sufficient detail to allow for an evaluation by the Government without the need for the submission of additional information. The written response must be submitted to Andrei G. Howze, Senior Contract Specialist, by Thursday, January 25, 2018 3:00pm Eastern Standard Time via email at ahowze@bbg.gov. ALL ATTACHMENTS MUST BE SENT IN "PDF FORMAT" AND INCLUDE THE SOLICITATION NUMBER IN THE SUBJECT LINE. Telephone or faxed responses are NOT acceptable and will NOT be considered. Any questions regarding this Notice of Intent shall be in writing and submitted to Andrei G. Howze, Senior Contract Specialist, via e-mail to ahowze@bbg.gov and must include the solicitation number in the subject line.
