Description

The Indian Health Service (IHS) is conducting a sources sought for the Shinnecock Service Unit located in Southampton, NY for DME and O&P service. IHS is looking for vendors able to provide all or some of the various DME items to include but not limited to walkers, wheelchairs, ortotics, OTS items, TENS units and other stimulation for pain releif, and other prescribed DME equipment or products. IHS is looking for vendors able to provide services at or near the Shinnecock Service Unit which is located at 101 Church Street, Southampton, NY 11968 when services include fitting or training. IHS is looking for vendors able to participate with the service unit at least twice a year in developing a community heath engagement effort to educate the community in awaress of diseases and condiitons which can be aleviated through use of DME and O&P offered by the vendor. Responsible vendors are requested to provide: - business size/socioeconomic classification - what DME/O&P services the vendor is able to meet for the service unit - if its services are adult, pediatric, or both. -its location relative to the service unit, or how it's able to meet the location requirement through other means.
