Kingsbridge Road Rm. 9b16 Bronx NY 10468 Synopsis: Please note that this is not a request for quotes or proposals, the Government is seeking information for market research purposes only. The Department of Veterans Affairs, Saint Albans VA Medical Center, is conducting a market survey for qualified firms capable of providing the following services for Saint Albans VAMC. Title of Project: Textile care Laundry Saint Albans campus 179-00 linden Blvd. Saint Albans New York 11425 Require Software, hardware, 8 Digital Floor scales, ramps, 8 PC 8 Touch screen Computers with 8 Cabinets with programming inventory software installation and training, the new computer system will require an internet connection at scale location. Inventory, training and report generation for 9 months include inventory of textile linen located at the 9 Visn 2 hospitals including the textile care Laundry plant bldg. 173 Saint Albans New York. Scope of Work: #1) this line item to be added is Training, Report Generation and Inventory. #2) 8 - Remote Customer Stations Record Received items by cart number and weight verification. Uses scale, touch screen, and terminal interface. Creates receiving record that automatically verifies with plant what was sent. Records Shipped weight by cart and will verify that plant received goods sent. Uses scale, touch screen, terminal interface Creates shipping record used to verify arrival of goods at processing facility. Order placement program Allows customer to place orders with the processing facility directly to the plant management system. Allows customers to get reports on lost linen, Pounds processed, pounds shipped, items received, bulk weight, and current production costs. Customer Relations Program Allows customer to make request on line Track who took the request and what is being done about it Tracks outstanding issues Tracks resolutions to previous issues. On-Site Inventory Allow customer to track inventory by department, Floor, Linen Closet, anywhere within the facility. Location settings are unlimited. Interfaces with the main laundry program for inventory verification. Will set par levels for reorders. Software, Hardware, and Cost Required (Per Station): 8 - Digital Floor Scales, ramps, and shipping 8- PC, 8- Touch-Screens, and 8 Cabinet Programming Installation, and Training The North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) is 541519. Responses to this notice must be submitting in writing via email and must be received no later than January 31, 2018. No telephone inquiries will be accepted. The purpose of this notice is to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources for this procurement relative to NAICS 541519. Qualified offerors shall be experienced in addition to providers (sellers) capable of supporting this facility. Responses to this notice will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. Responses to this notice should include company/individual name, a service capability statement, and examples of similar facilities which you have provided services to DUNS number, address, and point of contact. If your firm is a Service-Disabled Veteran Owned or Veteran Owned Small Business, you must be CERTIFIED in VetBiz (see internet site: http://vip.vetbiz.gov).
