Description

Payment Bond Performance Bond Firms Past Performance Form Davis Bacon Wage Determination Reps and Certs C301 Agreement C101 SF 1442 Solicitation Scope of Work This acquisition supports a request from the U.S. Department of State to the General Services Administration to solicit the construction community (Electrical Contractors) for a single construction award contract. The Electrical Contractor's (GC) will be solicited through Source Selection process in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Part 15. The GC will have to demonstrate adequate experience in high voltage electrical work while occupying a mission critical facility and meeting all security requirements. The work will consist of replacing the Vaults 3 & 4 electrical distribution and equipment, located in the Harry S. Truman Building. Some of the items include: demolition, HAZMAT abatement, architectural, medium voltage feeder replacement, low voltage feeder replacement, switch gear replacements, new bus feeds, electrical panel replacements, transformer replacements, network protector replacements, raceways, lighting, rough-in for security systems, and A/E construction admin support. The project will entail numerous outages and adhere to the phasing plan described in the construction documents. Site Visit is scheduled for February 1, 2018. Please see the attached attendee form for all interested attendees. This RFP is intended for Small business, veteran-owned small business, service-disabled veteran-owned small business, HUBZone small business, small disadvantaged business, and women-owned small businesses are encouraged to participate as prime contractors, or as members of joint ventures with other small businesses. The source selection process will utilize source selection procedures in accordance with FAR 15.3.
