Page 1 of 2 Please note that this is NOT a request for quotes or proposals, the Government is seeking information for market research purposes only. The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), James J. Peters VA Medical Center is currently conducting a market survey for qualified firms capable of providing all labor, supplies, equipment, maintenance, information technology, and supervision necessary to provide BrainLab Software License service to James J. Peters VA Medical Center described herein. BrainLab Software License Services include, but are not limited to: Scope of Work: The contractor shall provide a lifetime license for the Brainlab Kick EM Navigation system at the Bronx VA. This will not expire and will allow full functionality of the Kick EM system for the entirety of its life. The equipment details can be found below: Equipment: Manufacturer: _BrainLab______ Device Name: _Kick Navigation Station_ ID#: _52697________ Model: _Kick EM_______ Background: The current Kick Navigation system is on an annual license. This license allows for the equipment to function, however, it currently needs to be renewed on a yearly basis. This procurement seeks to obtain a lifetime license to alleviate this need. Requirements: License should allow for full functionality of the equipment. This license should be a legal key from the OEM, BrainLab. The license should not impact or alter any features of the equipment without first alerting the COR. Any issues that arise as a direct result of the license being installed will be remedied by the Contractor at no additional costs to the government. Government property shall remain the property of the Government in all respects, including but not limited to hard drives; ePHI (electronic patient healthcare information), etc. The North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) is 511210. Responses to this notice must be submitted in writing via email to carlton.lunsford@va.gov and must be received not later than January 29, 2018 @ 10:00am EST. No telephone inquiries will be accepted. Interested firms should also add their information to the interested vendors list for this announcement at www.fbo.gov. The purpose of this notice is to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources and their size classification//socioeconomic status (service-disabled veteran owned small business, veteran owned small business, HUB Zone, 8(a), small business or large business), relative to NAICS 511210. Responses to this notice will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. Responses to this notice should include: company/individual name, a service capability statement, examples of similar facilities for which you have provided services to, DUNS number, address, point of contact, phone number and socioeconomic category: (ex: SBVOSB, VOSB, 8(a), HUBZone, WOSB, EDWOSB, Small Business or Large Business). Additionally: If your firm is a Service-Disabled Veteran Owned or Veteran Owned Small Business, you must be CERTIFIED in VetBiz (see internet site: http://vip.vetbiz.gov). Contractors must be registered in System for Award Management (SAM), formerly CCR (see internet site: http://www.sam.gov). Responses to this notice must be submitted in writing via email to carlton.lunsford@va.gov and received not later than January 29, 2018 @ 10:00am EST.
