- Attachment 2 - Statement of Need (SON) Attachment 1 - Pictures and Diagrams (Brand Name or Equal) 1. This is a Sources Sought Announcement to be used for Market Research Analysis purposes in determining the availability of the below commercial requirement. No award will be made from this Sources Sought Announcement. No written solicitation is available at this time. Therefore, do not request a copy of a written solicitation. All written responses to this Sources Sought Announcement will be used to determine the appropriate acquisition strategy for the future acquisition. The NAICS Code is 621111 and the Size Standard is $11.0 Million. 2. Randolph AFB, TX is seeking sources qualified and interested in providing a commercial item proposal for a Body Plethysmography and Diffusion Pulmonary Functions Testing (PFT) System and accessories/components for the Medical Education and Training Campus (METC) located at Joint Base San Antonio (JBSA) Fort Sam Houston, Texas, listed in Attachments 1 and 2. Note: Brand Name or Equal products will also be considered if they can be proven to be compatible with the current system in place. Please send adequate documentation for any Brand Name or Equal products that meet this criteria. 3. All interested parties are invited to provide the following information about your company, corporation, or any teaming or joint venture partners. Any information provided by industry to the Government as a result of this Sources Sought Synopsis is strictly voluntary. Responses will not be returned. No entitlements to payment of direct, indirect costs, or charges to the Government will arise as a result of contractor submission of responses, or the Government's use of such information. The information obtained from industries response to this notice may be used in the development of an acquisition strategy and future Request for Proposal (RFP). 5.
