Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation, quotes are being requested. Solicitation number 36C26318Q0229 is issued as a request for quotes (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-96. The VA anticipates a base year contract with 4 options years for a fixed price contract award for a commercially available service to provide electronic resources to be made available to the medical professionals to provide reference material, technical resources, medical board certification study aids, and practice exams for physician and nursing knowledge areas for the VA Nebraska Western Iowa Health Care System (NWIHCS) 4101 Woolworth Avenue Omaha, NE 68105 Additional requirements are listed within the attached solicitation document titled Solicitation 36C26318Q0229. This procurement is a total small business set-aside. Prospective offerors must be registered and current in the System for Award Management (SAM) database prior to contract award (www.sam.gov). Quotes will only be accepted from responsible contractors. The NAICS code for the solicitation is 519130 with a size standard of less than 1000 employees. The Defense Priorities and Allocation System (DPAS) does not apply to this solicitation. A list of the contract line items, quantity, and unit of measure are listed within the attached solicitation documentation. Submission of Quotes Quotes are due to the Contracting Office by 02/02/2018 at 12:00 PM Central Time. Quotes are required to be emailed to John.Milroy@VA.GOV in.pdf or.docx format only prior to the solicitation closing date and time. Include the following in your subject line: Quotations submitted in response to Solicitation 36C26318Q0229. It is the responsibility of the offeror to ensure their quote is received in its entirety by the Contracting Specialist before the solicitation closing.
