- Notice of Intent to Lease Space Using Other Than Full and Open Competition The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) intends to award a Succeeding lease using other than full and open competition for an existing lease for the Transportation Security Administration that is expiring in Egg Harbor Township, NJ on 04/30/2018. The Government requires 44,670 rentable square feet of space which consists of approximately 50% office and 50% warehouse space. The space must be located within 3 miles radius of the WJHTC, be contiguous, and all services, supplies, utilities, partitioning and tenant alterations must be included as part of the rental consideration. The proposal under consideration is to proceed with a 10-year lease with a three- year firm term. Additional requirements are to have sufficient parking for visitors, and the ability to house a 24 hour operation within the space. The Government is interested in considering alternative space if economically advantageous, and that otherwise the Government intends to pursue a sole source acquisition. All offerors should be aware that the Government will consider the cost of moving, alterations, etc., when deciding what is the most advantageous for the agency mission. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed procurement action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. TSA will not reimburse for any costs incurred by interested parties in providing a notification of interest and/or capability statement in response to this posting. To submit a location for inspection, contact this office by Monday February 12th, 2018. (Submissions by other than the owner or manager of a property must be accompanied by a letter from the owner granting permission to make a general offering of the space.) WRITTEN EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST MUST INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING: Building name and Address, Rentable and Usable Square Footage, Fully Services Rental rate and Common Area Factor, available parking, and Building Floor Plans.
