- Basic characteristics with drawing The Mission & Installation Contracting Command - Fort Leonard Wood (MICC-FLW), intends to issue a solicitation for a single award firm fixed-price, Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity requirements contract for a base period plus option years. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 327331-Concrete Block Manufacturing which has a small business size standard of 500 employees. The applicable Federal Supply Code (FSC) is 5620 tile, brick, and block. The place of performance is Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri. This will be a Total Small Business set-aside. A Request for Quote (RFQ) will be posted under Solicitation Number W911S7-18-R-0011 on or after 10 February, 2018. Short Description: 1: A 4'x4'x4' concrete cube. All vertical and horizontal edges will have angle iron welded together to protect the edges and corners. ½" rebar will be placed in the concrete, spaced approximately 10" apart and no closer than 4" from any edge. Each block would be approximately 2.37 cubic yards or approx. 9,480lbs per block. 2: A 5'x10'x6" concrete slab, with ½" reinforcing rebar no closer than 4" from any edge, rebar spaced approximately 12" apart, and All vertical and horizontal edges will have angle iron welded together to protect the edges and corners. Each block is approximately 0.93 cu yards or approx. 3,720lbs per block 3: A 4'x4'x4" concrete slab; with ½" reinforcing rebar no closer than 4" from any edge, rebar spaced approximately 12" apart. There will be a piece of rebar inserted into the concrete to create a lifting point 3' and angled 90 degrees inside the concrete and 8"wide by 8" high outside the concrete creating a U-Shape. Each block is approximately 0.20 cu yards or approx. 800lbs per block. 4: A 4'x4'x6" concrete slab; with ½" reinforcing rebar no closer than 4" from any edge, rebar spaced approximately 12" apart. There will be a piece of rebar inserted into the concrete to create a lifting point 3' into the concrete angled at 90 degrees inside to hold and 8" High by 8" wide outside the concrete creating a U‐Shape. Each Block is approximately 0.30 cu yards and approx. 1,200lbs per block. 5: A 5'x10'x8" concrete slab, with ½" reinforcing rebar no closer than 4" from any edge, rebar spaced approximately 12" apart. Each block is approx. 1.25 cu yards and approximately 5,000lbs per block. Block 1: We are estimating to purchase between 0 and 5 of these blocks every year and when it's delivered the contractor must sit them down on treated 6" X 6" timbers. Block 2: We are estimating to purchase between 0 and 7 of these blocks every year and when it's delivered the contractor must sit them down on treated 6" X 6" timbers. These can stack one of top of the other when delivered but there needs to be 6" X 6" treated timbers between each slab. Block 3: We are estimating to purchase between 5 and 45 of these blocks every class and we run between 4 and 6 classes a year. When it's delivered the contractor must sit them down on treated 6" X 6" timbers. Block 4: We are estimating to purchase between 5 and 45 of these blocks every class and we run between 4 and 6 classes a year. When it's delivered the contractor must sit them down on treated 6" X 6" timbers. Block 5: We are estimating to purchase between 2 and 8 of these blocks every class and we run between 4 and 6 classes a year. When it's delivered the contractor must sit them down on treated 6" X 6" timbers. ***Concrete used to make these blocks must be a 6 bag mix/3,500psi or better. **Concrete used to make these does NOT require fiber mixed in.
