- Industry Day Flyer DRAFT Statement of Work The Naval Explosive Ordnance Disposal Technology Division (NSWC IHEODTD) is holding an Industry Day in conjunction with the Navy Innovation Market Place Event. All interested parties are invited to participate in the event on Wednesday, February 7, 2018 at Southern Maryland Higher Education Center, 44219 Airport Road, California, Maryland. The event will take place from 08:30 am until 04:00pm; registration for the main event is open to the public, however everyone attending the Industry Day portion of event in Building 2 Room 135 must be a Distribution D entity. Distribution D is defined as authorized Department of Defense and U.S. DOD contractors only. Attendees shall register at https://navyshowcase.eventbrite.com for the main event and click on the Industry Day registration link to register for NSWC IHEODTD's session. Please arrive between 7:30am- 8:00am to allow time to check in prior to the 8:30am start time. Upon completion of the Command's overview presentation the Industry Day displays and presentation will be set up. The purpose of NSWC IHEODTD'S Industry Day is to showcase manufacturing, assembly, inspection, coating, welding, packing and shipping needs for various components associated with IHEODTD's business areas. Sample parts and presentations will be presented to provide an example of manufacturing task areas that are needed to support a multi-vendor contract. A draft copy of the Statement of Work is provided as an attachment to this announcement. Advance questions and/or comments pertaining to the Industry Day and draft Statement of Work may be addressed to Demetrius.green@navy.mil. Attendance is not a prerequisite for ultimately submitting a proposal at the time a Request for Proposal (RFP) is released or other involvement in the program. Advance questions and/or comments will be addressed at the Industry Day. Attendees will also have the opportunity to ask questions during the Industry Day. All questions and answers will be recorded and posted to FedBizOpps within 30 calendar days of the Industry Day. The Government will not pay for information obtained during the event or for any time and expense of the participants. This announcement does not constitute an invitation for bid or Request for Proposal and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government to issue a contract. The Government will not pay for any effort expended or any material provided in response to this announcement nor will the Government return any data provided.
