Description
The Defense Logistics Agency, DLA Maritime Norfolk, Contracting Division, intends to negotiate a Firm Fixed Price contract to procure a rotary screw air compressor to be shipped to the Norfolk Naval Shipyard, Portsmouth, Virginia 23709. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Codes are 333912 (Air and gas compressors, compressors and vacuum pumps) and the procurement will be 100% set aside for small businesses. The contract line items are as follows: CLIN 0001: Air Compressor Rotary Screw Air Compressor SALIENT CHARACTERISTICS: Ingersoll Rand Air Compressor P/N H200A • Maximum operating Pressure 128 psig • Must be an oil free air • Equipment must be new; refurbished or used equipment is not acceptable. • Compressor must be a fixed speed design. A variable speed design will not be accepted • Air compressor must be rated for outdoor use in an industrial environment with weather elements associated with a saltwater marine location in temperatures ranging 20 to 100 F. • Air compressor to be furnished with a male 500 mcm Kamlock fitting • Discharge must be 2" national pipe thread • Air compressor must be capable of running 24 hours days/ 7 days a week • Air compressor must takes up a footprint no greater than 6 feet wide and 13 feet long • Must be electrical powered 230/460V, 60Hz, 3 phases. Capable of starting and running on a 400 amp circuit breaker. • Should be provided with a Low Ambient Air Temperature Package. The solicitation number will be SPMYM1-18-Q-0029. The solicitation is expected to be posted on or around 26 January 2018 and close on 1 February 2018 and responses may be faxed to the attention of Kenneth McIntosh at fax number 757-396-8119 or emailed to her at kenneth.mcintosh@dla.mil. By submitting a proposal, the vendor will be self-certifying that neither it nor its principal corporate officials and owners are currently suspended, debarred, or otherwise ineligible to receive contracts from any Federal agency.
