Description
Subject: Notice of Intent to Sole Source The Regional Health Contracting Office - Central intends to issue a sole-source contract to Genomic Health for maintenance and repair services for for Reverse Transcript Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) Cancer Testing for Evans Army Community Hospital and William Beaumont Army Medical Center. The PCR cancer testing is specifically for 96 prostate tests, 12 breast tests and 12 colon tests per year for EACH and 20 breast tests per year for WBAMC. The sole-source contract will have a performance period of 23 February 2018 - 22 February 2020; Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) clause 52.217-9, Option to Extend the Term of the Contract and 52.217-8, Option to Extend Services, will also be included in the contract to be used if necessary. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code is 621511, Medical Laboratories. The Small Business Administration's size standard for NAICS 321511 is $32.5M. The solicitation number is W81K00-18-R-0011, and is generated for the purposes of posting this notice of intent and the final Justification and Approval (J&A) document. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. All responses received, to include capability statements, within 10 days of the posting of this notice will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete the interim purchase order based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
