- Title: Bradbury Dam/Cachuma Reservoir Valves Solicitation Number 140R2018B0004 The Bureau of Reclamation intends to issue an Invitation for Bid (IFB) for a firm fixed price construction contract for the removal of two existing and installation of two new 30-inch Fixed Cone valves, actuators, and peripheral equipment for Bradbury Dam Outlet Works. This procurement is set-aside for Small Business Concerns only. The Bureau of Reclamation will use FAR Part 14 for this procurement. The work is located at Bradbury Dam in Santa Barbara, CA, approximately 11 miles east of Solvang, California. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 237110 and the related small business size standard is $36.5 million number of employees. The principal components of work are as follows: a.Disassemble Existing 30-Inch Fixed Cone Valves from the Structure. b.Remove Existing 30-Inch Fixed Cone Valves and Peripheral Equipment. c.Install two 30-inch Fixed Cone Valves and Peripheral Equipment. d.Return Site to Pre-Construction Conditions. The estimated cost of this project is between $500,000.00 and $1,000,000.00. This procurement will require a Bid Bond and 100% Performance and Payment Bonds. Solicitation 140R2018B0004 will be posted at www.fbo.gov on or about February 13, 2018. The estimated date for receipt of proposals is March 20, 2018. The solicitation and specifications must be downloaded at the above site. No paper copy of this solicitation or construction drawings will be distributed. System of Awards Management (SAM) and Annual Representations and Certifications, as required by FAR 4.1102, apply to this procurement. Prospective contractors must be registered prior to award. Lack of registration in the SAM database will make an offeror ineligible for award. Information on SAM registration can be obtained via the Internet at http://www.sam.gov.
