- This is for the soliciation of vendors to provide a quote for interior painting of 02 Coast Guard owned housing units located in St. Ignace, MI. Caulking to be completed in areas that require such as kitchen/bathroom counters, trim work, wall and ceiling joints, etc. (See attached SOW for more detail). Square Footage of each home: Housing 1 - 5600 Sqft Housing 2 - 5200 Sqft Paint to be supplied to contractor by USCG. Projected Start Date: Late Spring 2018 Contractor will be given a 1 week window to schedule and complete each job. Units will be painted as members vacate, there is a possibility work will not be able to be completed back to back depending on time frame members move from these homes. Attached Wage Determination and Scope of Work must be reviewed and applied towards quote. THIS IS A COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION FOR CONSTRUCTION PREPARED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE FORMAT IN FAR SUBPART 5.1 AND 5.2 AS SUPPLEMENTED WITH ADDITIONAL INFORMATION INCLUDED IN THIS NOTICE. THIS ANNOUNCEMENT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY SOLICITATION; PROPOSALS ARE BEING REQUESTED AND A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. THIS PURCHASE WILL BE BASED ON THE FOLLOWING CRITERIA: LOWEST COST TECHNICALLY ACCEPTABLE VENDORS DOING BUSINESS WITH THE COAST GUARD MUST BE REGISTERED OR BE WILLING TO REGISTER WITH SYSTEM FOR AWARD MANAGEMENT AT WWW.SAM.GOV. FAR CLAUSES 52.237-1 SITE VISIT, 52.237-2 PROTECTION OF GOVERNMENT BUILDINGS, EQUIPMENT, AND VEGETATION, 22.4 LABOR STANDARDS FOR CONTRACTS INVOLVING CONSTRUCTION, AND 36.204(b) DISCLOSURE OF THE MAGNITUDE OF CONSTRUCTION PROJECTS BETWEEN $25,000 AND $100,000 ARE APPLICABLE
