Description

NASA is soliciting information to conduct market research in accordance with FAR 15.201(e), the information requested is for planning purposes only and is not intended to bind the Government. The NASA SMD/Planetary Science Division requests information about potential U.S. contributions to the Integrated Detector Cooler Assembly. The U.S. contribution may consist of a complete Integrated Detector Cooler Assembly. While possible contributions may not be limited to these items, all contributions must support the development of an integrated cooler-detector assembly (IDCA) using one of the 4x4 HgCdTe APD arrays and chip carriers from earlier NASA programs, and a 1/5 watts mini-cryo-cooler. NASA is interested in contributions that enhance the science return of the mission and that utilize unique U.S. expertise. This Sources Sought specifically requests information regarding an Integrated Detector Cooler Assembly.
