- THIS IS A NOTICE OF INTENT ANNOUNCEMENT ONLY, The National Park Service has a requirement for the installation of a new microfiltration skid within the existing water treatment plant at Isle Royale NP in Lake Superior. This will be a sole source SDVOSB small business set aside. A firm-fixed price contract is anticipated. It is intended that this requirement will be awarded to Northern Wings Repair located in Newberry MI. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 221310 with a size standard of $27.5 million. The Product Service Code is Z2NE. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT a request for competitive proposals. A determination to compete this requirement, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government. The National Park Service will NOT be responsible for any costs incurred by interested parties responding to this notice of intent. Only written responses from responsible sources will be fully considered. Any prospective contractor must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) in order to be eligible for award. Information concerning SAM registration requirements may be viewed via the Internet at https://www.sam.gov, or by calling the Federal Service Desk at 866-606-8220. All interested parties shall submit clear and convincing documentation demonstrating the capabilities to satisfy the requirement described above via email to Michael Beatty at michael_beatty@nps.gov or by FAX to 330-468-2507. The capability documentation should include the address, point of contact (POC), telephone number and e-mail address. All responses are due by Wednesday 14 February, 2018.
