Description

The Office of Blood Research and Review, Division of Emerging and Transfusion Transmitted Diseases, Laboratory of Emerging Pathogens, needs to purchase a multi-mode spectrophotometer to be used to perform and develop highly sensitive ELISA based assays utilizing luminometer to detect anti-Zika antibodies in the serum of patients and to screen blood donors against Zika virus antibodies. The current instrument in our laboratory can only read UV-Visible wavelengths and is outdated, so we rely on the equipment of other labs to perform multiple critical experiments to further our research goals. NOTE: THIS NOTICE WAS NOT POSTED TO FEDBIZOPPS ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (07-FEB-2018); HOWEVER, IT DID APPEAR IN THE FEDBIZOPPS FTP FEED ON THIS DATE.
