Description

Salient Characteristics Padded Room for Detainee Behavioral Health 1. Purpose: Padding for a US Government mental health or psychiatric room in a detention medical facility 2. Shipping to 8998 Blount Island Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32226 (for embarkation to Guantanamo Bay, Cuba) 3. Installation site: US Navy Station, Guantanamo Bay, Cuba 4. Installation date: No earlier than 28 FEB 2018 and no later than 31 MAR 2018 5. Room dimensions: Approximately 7ft-0in x 12ft-4in x 8ft-3in in height 6. Installed on the interior of walls, floor, and steel hinged door and door frame 7. Of a unitary or laminated construction to prevent destruction by teeth, hand tearing, small metal objects 8. Seamless construction and installation 9. Installation shall incorporate venting, door slides/splash passage door (for food, items, etc.), door window pane 10. Rated/approved for use in mental health or psychiatric facilities in the United States 11. Color: Natural beige or tan 12. Product depth: Wall Padding 1 inches in depth, at least 1 ½" total thickness with backing 13. Floor and Ceiling Padding ¾ inches in depth, with at least 1 ¼" total thickness 14. Cushioning property to prevent physical injury of patient or detainee 15. Made from nonflammable, non-toxic material 16. Tested in accordance with ASTM E84 with a Class A fire rating 17. Nonconductive foam or similar material 18. Product has acoustic/vibration dampening and cushioning properties 19. Structurally resilient with low compression set and 90 percent memory 20. Compression properties 30 PSI to 70 PSI at 50% modulus 21. Low water absorption, moisture-resistant and fungus-resistant 22.
