- Solicitation_SF1442 Statement of Work Repair Overhead Door This notice does NOT constitute a request for proposal, request for quote, or invitation for bid. The intent of this notice is to provide the synopsis / solicitation for the upcoming project at Homestead Air Reserve Base, FL to Repair Overhead Door. The project (FA6648-18-R-0003) consists of, but is not limited to, the furnishing of all parts, labor, services, tools, materials, equipment, transportation, supervision and all miscellaneous requirements needed to perform all operations in conjunction with the effort to Repair Overhead Door. The full requirement is contained within the Statement of Work (SOW) provided in the Solicitation. This acquisition is being set-aside for SDVOSB consideration. Offers from SDVOSB concerns will not be considered. The NAICS code is 238290 with a size standard of $15 million. The magnitude of this requirement is between $25,000 and $100,000. The period of performance shall be for 60 days after issuance of Notice to Proceed. This will be a firm-fixed price construction contract. The solicitation will utilize FAR part 15 & 36 procedures. Lowest Price Technically Acceptable and proposals shall Include : -Provide a proposed technical approach and solution to each scope requirement. -Identify and analyze the reason for significant deviation of any methods and processes from scope and provide an alternative method. -Directly identify any special terms/conditions. -Provide a preliminary statement of the personnel required and hours required for the project. -Provide a preliminary description of proposed materials and equipment required. -Include a final price for completion of project and all itemized costs listed. The Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation either before or after the closing date. A site visit will be held on 1 March 2018 at 9:00 am Eastern standard time.
