- This FBO advertisement is hereby incorporated into the RLP 18-REG04 by way of reference as an RLP attachment. U.S. GOVERNMENT seeks to lease the following office space through the Automated Advanced Acquisition Program (AAAP): City: Sarasota State: Florida Delineated Area: A portion of the City of Sarasota, FL bounded as follows: Commencing at the intersection of N. Tamiami Trail and 10 th Street, travel westerly on 10 th Street until it intersects with N. Orange Avenue; then travel northerly on N. Orange Avenue until it intersects with 12 th Street; then travel westerly on 12 th Street until it intersects with Tuttle Avenue; then travel southerly on Tuttle Avenue until it intersects with Woods Street; then travel westerly on Woods Street until it intersects N. School Avenue; then travel southerly on N. School Avenue until it intersects again with Wood Street; then travel westerly on Wood Street until it intersects with S. Tamiami Trail; then travel northerly on S. Tamiami Trail until it turn into Mound Street; then continue westerly on Mound Street until it turns into Bayfront Drive; then travel northwesterly on Bayfront Drive until it turns into N. Tamiami Trail; then travel northerly on N. Tamiami Trail until it intersects with 10 th Street, the place of commencement. Minimum ABOA Sq. Ft.: 7,799 Maximum ABOA Sq. Ft.: 7,799 Space Type: Office Term: 15 years, 10 years firm Agency Unique Requirements: Tenant will be a law enforcement agency and agency personnel will wear sidearms while on the property. All contactors and employees including, but not limited to, management, construction, maintenance, and cleaning service personnel will need to obtain a security clearance including fingerprinting and background investigation. Buildings with underground parking will need to have access controlled parking restricted to building tenants only. Buildings with open/general public parking below the building will not be considered. The proposed facility shall not be located near Public Defenders, Immigration and Customs Enforcement, Probation Offices or other businesses or facilities deemed unacceptable by the Tenant's Physical Security Unit for security purposes. This requirement may be waived only if no other facility is deemed acceptable and other security measures can be taken to help mitigate risks. Stand-off distance shall be provided from the curb line or nearest point accessible by a vehicle to the facade of the building to house the Tenant office. Agency Tenant Improvement Allowance: Existing leased Space: $44.08 per ABOA SF Other locations offered: $44.08 per ABOA SF HOW TO OFFER: The Automated Advanced Acquisition Program (AAAP), located at https://aaap.gsa.gov, will enable interested parties to offer space for lease to the Federal Government in response to RLP 18-REG04. In addition, the Government will use its AAAP to satisfy the above space requirement. Interested parties must go to the AAAP website, select the "Register to Offer Space" link and follow the instructions to register. Instructional guides and video tutorials are offered on the AAAP homepage and in the "HELP" tab on the AAAP website. Once registered, interested parties may enter offers during any "Open Period". This FBO advertisement is hereby incorporated into the RLP 18-REG04 by way of reference as an RLP attachment. Lease award will be made to the lowest price, technically acceptable offer, without negotiations, based upon the requirements in this FBO advertisement and in the RLP requirements package found on the AAAP website. During an Open Period, offerors will be permitted to submit new offers or modify existing offers. Offerors can draft an offer at any time; however, you can only submit an offer during the Open Period. The offered space must comply with the requirements in this FBO advertisement and RLP 18-REG04 and must meet Federal Government, State, and Local jurisdiction requirements, including requirements for fire and life safety, security, accessibility, seismic, energy, and sustainability standards in accordance with the terms of the Lease. The Lease and all documents that constitute the Lease package can be found at https://aaap.gsa.gov. * If you have previously submitted an offer in FY 2017, the AAAP application has a copy feature which will allow existing offers to be copied over to the FY 2018 RLP in order to avoid having to re-enter all of the data manually. Please be sure to review FY18 AAAP RLP Package and each page within the AAAP Application prior to submitting your offer as some of the questions have changed. You must re-enter your space and rates on the 'Space and Rates' tab in the AAAP. Your previous offered space will not be copied.
