Description

NAVSUP Fleet Logistics San Diego (FLCSD) intends to award a Brand Name Sole Source contract through NASA SEWP, a Government required source of supply, for Hewlett Packard hardware in support of Tactical Training Group Pacific, San Diego, CA. FLCSD will use Simplified Acquisition Procedures and Other Than Full and Open Competition. The authority for soliciting a single source under simplified acquisition procedures is FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i), Soliciting Competition, which states that contracting officers may solicit from one source if the contracting officer determines that the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source reasonably available (e.g., urgency, exclusive licensing agreements, brand-name or industrial mobilization). The proposed contract action is for a brand name only. The brand name and model number of the product(s) are: SEE ATTACHED JUSTIFICATION FOR REQUIRED ITEMS In accordance with FAR 5.102(a)(6), the required justification documentation is attached. This Notice of Intent is not a request for quotation. No solicitation or RFQ will be forthcoming. Interested parties may identify their interest and submit product information in response to this notice by 9 am 20 February 2018 PST via email to heather.proctor1@navy.mil. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract outside of NASA SEWP is entirely at the discretion of the Government.
