Description
The 42nd Contracting Squadron at Maxwell AFB, AL hereby give notice of an intent to award a sole source contract to Pearson Education, as implemented by the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 13.106-(b), soliciting from a single source to satisfy agency requirements. This is not a request for competitive proposals and no solicitation is available. Capability statements received by the response date of this announcement may be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Pearson Education will provide the following: CLIN 0001: Watson-Glaser Critical Thinking Appraisals (WGCTA). Period of Performance 23 Feb 18- 22 Feb 19 QTY 750 each Those capable of meeting the above requirement are requested to provide the following information in their response: • Current capability that demonstrates your company's ability to meet the following: o Measure all the variables encompass found in the existing WGCTA o Predicts judgement, problem solving, data collection and creativity. o Provides comparable data that continue to develop a normative group for critical thinking in the Air Force and the research methodology exportable to the Air Force and DOD. o Compare normative groups across a broad range of professional competencies. o Requires a methodology that can be applied in multiple locations with various populations, on-line and provide quick answers. o Captures critical thinking data appropriate for qualitative and quantitative peer review research. o Measure crtical thinking in the following areas: Inference Recognition of assumptions Deduction Interpretation Evaluation of Arguments • Company name, point of contact, e-mail address, telephone and fax numbers, type of business and size, Cage Code and DUNS number. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 519130 IMPORTANT NOTES: 1. Information submitted will not be returned to the respective respondents. Oral submission of information is not acceptable and will not be considered in response to this notice. 2. Final responses to this will be due on 12:00 NOON, Central Standard Time (CST), on 21 Feb 2018. 3.
