Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) intends to award a sole source firm fixed price contract to Semper Tek, Inc., 848 Nandino Blvd., Suite O Lexington, Ky. for new equipment site preparation in the Radiology Department at the Alvin C York VA Medical Center. This is being sole sourced due to the pressing need of this requirement. This contract action is for services for which the VA intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation 6.302-5 (Authorized by Statute) and 38 U.S.C. 8127(c) which is implemented by VA Acquisition Regulation (VAAR) 819.7007. A determination that only one Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business concern is available to provide this requirement is not required (see VAAR 819.7007(b)). This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals; however, all capability statements/responses received by the date listed below will be considered by the VA. A determination by the VA not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the VA. Capability Statements/responses should be emailed to Michael.clevenger@va.gov by 1400 CT on Monday, 05 March 2018.
