Description

MENTAL HEALTH INPATIENT AND OUTPATIENT FACILITIES, VA LONG BEACH MEDICAL CENTER, LONG BEACH, LOS ANGELES COUNTY, CA This project is for the construction of a new Mental Health Inpatient (MHIP) building of approximately 78,000 GSF and a new Mental Health Outpatient (MHOP) building of approximately 80,000 GSF. Both MHIP and MHOP buildings are 2-story buildings. Work includes general building construction, clearing and grubbing, site preparation, selective demolition, erosion controls, roads, paving and sidewalks, grading, drainage and sewer, landscaping, site lighting, fire suppression, site utilities, mechanical, electrical, telecommunications and associated work per attached plans and specifications. The project is intended to be certified LEED silver or better upon completion of construction of both buildings. The site of the project is the VA Long Beach Health Care System located at 5901 E. 7th Street, Long Beach CA 90822. This project will comply with DoD antiterrorism/force protection requirements per UFC 4-010-01. This construction contract is estimated to be between $100,000,000 to $250,000,000 This an UNRESTRICTED procurement and will be conducted under NAICS Code: 236220 Commercial & Institutional Bldg Construction. The size standard for this code is $36,500,000. Contract Clause No. FAR 52.219-4, entitled, Price Evaluation Preference for HUBZone Small Business Concerns will be applied to this procurement. The acquisition will use FAR Part 15 Contract by Negotiation procedures for award. All offerors are advised that this project may be delayed, cancelled or revised at any time during the solicitation, selection, evaluation, negotiation and/or final award process.
