Description
The purpose of Amendment 0002 is to respond to questions submitted for the following solicitation and to revise the Due Date for Quotations: QUESTIONS/ANSWERS: Question 1:Has a contractor performed similar work to this for the government in the past? If available, please provide the incumbent contract number. Answer 1:Until our need increased, requirements were completed via Government Purchase Card. The most recent company used was Novogene. Question 2:How can we apply for this: https://www.fbo.gov/spg/DOC/NIST/AcAsD/SB134118RQ0173/packages.html Answer 2:The instructions for submitting quotes are contained in the first attachment, FBO-18RQ0173-AMD01-SolicitationInstructions. Question 3:Type of library preparation: DNA, RNA, Amplicon etc. Answer 3:Genomic DNA or DNA Amplicons Question 4:Library preparation kit used: Answer 4:Variable. Mostly Amplicon sequencing (no kit) or Nextera DNA kits Question 5: Index information: Single or Dual? Answer 5:Variable. We will either require no index read (indexing is done on the main reads) or dual indexing Question 6:Number of bp in each index: Answer 6:Variable. Usually 0 or 8, but up to 16 is possible Question 7:We understand that you will be submitting pooled libraries. Will that be possible to know the number of libraries in each pool? Answer 7:Variable, up to 200 Question 8:We understand that you will be submitting samples in batches. Will that be possible to know about the potential number of libraries in each batch? Answer 8:Variable, from 1 to 50 lanes per batch End of all Questions submitted for Solicitation SB134118RQ0173. DUE DATE FOR QUOTATIONS The due date is changed from 12:00 NOON Eastern Time on Monday, February 26, 2018 to 12:00 NOON Eastern Time on Wednesday, February 28, 2018. All quotations must be submitted via e-mail to Harry Brubaker, Contract Specialist at Harry.Brubaker@nist.gov. Quotation shall be considered received when it is received in the electronic inbox of Harry Brubaker not later than the date and time identified herein.
